Vaccine Laced M&M’s to Save Endangered Ferrets

The black-footed ferret population in Montana and the prairie dog population in UL Bend National Wildlife Refuge are experiencing a plague epidemic which deemed these species Endangered. In an effort to save these populations, The US Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) plan to bombard the prairie dog and ferret habitats with vaccine laced M&M’s using drones with a dispenser affixed to them which will shoot the M&M’s out in three directions simultaneously. Read more here or view the video below from Newsy.
